Heartland Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt at 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 3.
This free public event is open to all ages. Heartland Villa will provide Little Caesars pizza along with bottled water and sodas. The event will take place outdoors, rain or shine. Children should bring their own Easter baskets or bags.
Attendees will have a chance to take photos with the Easter Bunny and enjoy music and other activities.
“This is a great time for the residents to meet people in the community,” Heartland Villa Admissions and Marketing Director David Curry said. “They really enjoy it, and we try to do this each year.”
Some of the facility’s seniors will help fill the eggs with treats. Candy donations are welcome and may be dropped off at Heartland Villa at least a week before the event so they can prepare them in time.
Residents and their families are encouraged to take part. Those who are able will gather to watch the children as they search for eggs. Heartland Villa staff is organizing the event and volunteering their time to make it possible.
The 45-bed nursing facility celebrated 30 years of service in 2024 and provides customized short- and long-term care, including physical, occupational and speech therapy, 24-hour skilled nursing, post-hospital recovery, hospice care and respite services.

Heartland Villa is at 8005 U.S. Highway 60 West in Lewisport. For more information, call 270-295-6756. Follow the Heartland Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Facebook page for updates.
