Osa Campbell Jr
Osa Campbell Jr., 80, of Lewisport, KY went to his heavenly home on Monday, January 12, 2026 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on May 3, 1945 in Letcher, KY to the late Osa Campbell Sr. and Martha Trusty Campbell. He was a United States Army veteran and a founder of Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church where he loved to sing and play the guitar and banjo.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Vincent, Elizabeth Moseley and Mary Bray; son-in-law, Todd May; and daughter-in-law, Corixa Campbell.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Martha Cotton Campbell; son, Tony Campbell; daughters, Terri Jellison, Sarah May, Jeanette Barreiro (Adam) and Shelley Campbell; grandchildren, Caleb Campbell (Lora), Josh Campbell (Jenn), Katie Frashure (Cliff), Jonathan Campbell, Justin Campbell, Jacob Jellison (Janna), Hannah Deckard (James), Seth Jellison (Chelcei), Lorrie Campbell, Aaron Barreiro and Alexis Barreiro; sister-in-law, Donna Fleming; brothers-in-law, Ed Bray and Darrell Cotton; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2:00pm on Friday, January 16, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial with military honors will follow the service at Lewisport Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
