Honoring 50 Years of Lady Hornet Basketball: Alumni Join in the Celebration

Join the Hancock County community this December as we celebrate a special milestone: 50 years of Lady Hornets basketball! Former players, coaches, and fans are all invited to be part of this event honoring the history and legacy of the Lady Hornets.

Ceremony

The celebration begins on Friday, December 6th, at 6:00 p.m. on the HCHS campus as the current Lady Hornets take on Butler County. A ceremony will recognize past players and coaches who helped build the program from its first season in 1974 to the present.

Alumni Game & Skills Competitions

On Saturday, December 7th, at 1:00 p.m., alumni are invited to participate in an Alumni Game at the Hancock County High School Gymnasium, along with a 3-point contest, Free Throw Contest, and Skills Competition for some friendly fun. This event is a great opportunity to reconnect with former teammates and coaches and to celebrate the legacy of Lady Hornet basketball with the community. We hope to see you there!
