Rylann Kessans performs with Kentucky All State Chorus at Kentucky Center for the Arts

Rylann Kessans, Freshman at HCHS and daughter of Jeff and Laura Kessans, performs for the second time with the Kentucky All State Chorus at the Kentucky Center for the Arts in Louisville, KY last week.

Students from across the state audition for the limited spots available for this state level performance.

Not only has Rylann been successful in her vocal career, Rylann is very active in Theatre. Rylann performs in several choral and theatre events in the area.  She began performing in theatre in Kindergarten. Her first play was Pinocchio.

Rylann performs regularly on stage.   She has been very active in Theatre Workshop of Owensboro, Bluegrass Children’s Theatre and the Riverpark Center.

Rylann’s father, Jeff Kessans is a teacher and coach at HCHS. Her mother, Laura Kessans, is the Family Resource in at HCMS and HCHS.  Rylann’s sister, Bella, also is a performer.
