Detox Heavy Metals
There are some inexpensive, natural ways to detox the body of heavy metals. There are also some foods and different products you should avoid, as to not be adding more of those toxic metals back into your system.
One simple way to purge heavy metals is to soak in a bath of sea salt and baking soda once or twice a week. Add one cup of sea salt or Epsom salt and one cup of baking soda to your bath water and soak for 20 minutes. You can also add a few drops of essential oils with detoxing properties such as: lemon, lavender, grapefruit, bergamot, lemongrass and peppermint. In addition, you can add one or more of these to your detox bath: fresh ginger juice, oregano, fennel seed and juniper berry.
Foods you can eat to detox from heavy metals are: chlorella, garlic, spirulina, cilantro, barley grass juice, green tea, matcha (ceremonial grade), turmeric, tomatoes, wild blueberries, apples, purple onion, Atlantic dulce, parsley and purple cabbage. Drinking fresh lemon juice added to filtered water or a small amount of bentonite clay mixed into filtered water are also helpful in detoxing.
Some foods and beverages to avoid are: Larger, longer-living fish (tend to contain more mercury), alcohol, brown rice, processed fruit juices, unfiltered tap water and non-organic foods.
Heavy metal toxicity symptoms include: headaches, fatigue, nausea, nervousness, abdominal pain and cramping, breathing issues, abnormal heart rhythm, chronic infections, insomnia, paralysis, burning and tingling sensations, impaired vision and cognitive issues.
The human body doesn’t know what to do with heavy metals when they enter the body. Those metals can end up in the nearest, large internal organ, which is the brain. This is why there is a documented link between using aluminum deodorants for years and developing Alzheimer’s. www.alzdiscovery.org/
I recommend switching to an aluminum-free deodorant immediately. Zionhealth Clay Dry deodorant is an excellent brand and there are scents available for men and women.
Be Well and God Bless You.
