Review:
DVD—Defending Jacob
Defending Jacob is a television miniseries, based on the 2012 novel by William Landay, and produced by Apple TV+. There are 8 episodes and the running time is almost 7 hours.

Chris Evans stars in this story of a family whose son is accused of murder. His role is the father and an assistant district attorney, whose life is turned upside down when he is forced to choose between his sworn duty to uphold justice and the unconditional love he has for his son. There are several twists and turns along the way that you don’t see coming.

As it sometimes happens with movies based on a book, a few changes have been made, especially at the end. The library has the DVD as well as the book, so stop by soon and check one…or both of them out.
