BBQ fundraiser to help Hancock gal perform in Dancing with our Stars; benefit for Boulware Mission

In recent weeks you may have read a Clarion story about the upcoming Dancing with Our Stars event in Owensboro.

Lewisport resident Taunya Iverson, General Manager of Cromwell Media, is one of the star dancers. It is Iverson’s job to raise money up until the competition and there are only 2 weeks remaining to raise the money needed to win!

Iverson is hoping the Hancock County community will help support her in her efforts.

To raise this last stint of $$, Iverson and her husband, Kevin McManaway are selling delicious barbeque Boston Butts this Saturday at the Lewisport Boat Dock.

Pre-Order your Boston Butt!

Iverson and her husband are hoping to sell 100 Boston Butts.  The Maceo Annual Cooking Teams have volunteered to smoke the butts.  Pick up will be at Lewisport Boat dock between 2 pm and 4pm. Your purchase of a Boston Butt will not only help Iverson win Dancing with the Stars; all proceeds go to Boulware Mission; a faith-based shelter in Owensboro helping displaced individuals become self-sufficient through treatment, education, and services.

To pre-order your Boston Butt contact: Iverson or her husband through Facebook messaging or you can call Iverson at (270) 922-6693.

Iverson’s goal is making a positive impact on the world around her. Please join Iverson in making a difference.
