United Way delivers grants to Hancock agencies

This past week United Way staff spent time in Hancock County hand delivering grants to much deserving agencies.

Through corporate and individual donations, Hancock County raised $22,466!

These funds benefit 9 programs in the county including: Hancock County Food Pantry, Hancock County 4-H, Help Office of Hancock County, Hospice of Western Kentucky, OASIS Shelter, Repair Affair, Senior Services: Senior Meal Program, Building Stronger Families and the 2-1-1 Health and Human Resource Hotline.

These agencies server as the heartbeat for the Hancock county community, ensuring all of those in need are provided with outstanding resources and the greatest chance at success. We applaud them for their dedication and their willingness to serve even through the pandemic.

If anyone is in need of services and is unsure of where to turn, pick up the phone and dial 2-1-1 to get connected to resources closest to you, like those listed above.

Here at United Way, we envision communities where every person has access to quality education, financial stability, and a healthy lifestyle. If anyone would like more information about UWOV or how you can get involved, reach out to our office at any time at 270-684-0668 or visit us online at www.UWOV.org.
