Kindergarten in Hancock County has evolved into new innovation

When kindergarten was introduced in Hancock County in 1965, it consisted of things like being quiet, learning to form single file lines, and naps. Those days are long gone though, and kids in the county now are not only expected to achieve much more, they’re now mixed with first graders in both schools, in a system that teachers say is allowing kids to prosper at all levels.
