Hawesville man facing attempted murder of police officer after chase

A Hawesville man is looking at charges from four different police agencies, including the charge of attempted murder of a police officer, after stealing two vehicles, attempting to abduct two women, and trying to run over an officer in a short chase.

Edward Adam Warriner, 46, of 9135 state Route 2181, was arrested last Thursday in Owensboro after what seems to be arbitrary attacks and auto thefts in various locations, which ended with a police officer firing shots at his stolen van as he allegedly tried to run her down.
