Erin Ramsey, Owner of Big Roots Lavender Farm, Speaks at Chamber Breakfast

The Hancock County Chamber of Commerce monthly breakfast was held at the HC Career Center, on Tuesday, November 12th. The breakfast was provided by one of Hawesville’s newest businesses, Blackford Creek Bakery.
Erin Ramsey, owner of Big Roots Lavender Farm in Hawesville, was the speaker. The 54-acre family-operated farm opened in June of 2018, and offers an opportunity to come out and cut your own lavender, and walk the labyrinth there. You can also schedule a day retreat or an event on the beautiful property.
The family’s mission is: “to provide experiences and products that contribute to the well-being of others,” and some of the many calming, lavender products that you can order on their website are: lavender goat’s milk soap, lavender rosewood bubble bath, lavender body mist, and lavender salve.
They also offer pesticide-free, full spectrum distillate CBD oil. They grow high-quality hemp plants along with their lavender on the farm as well.
Big Roots Lavender Farm is located at 3204 Truman Young Road, in Hawesville. The phone number is (812) 549-6216, and the email is: [email protected].
