Police investigating murder; friends point to Lewisport man as suspect

The Clarion is following the developing story of a Hancock County man who is alleged to have been the gunman in a murder in Daviess County last week.

The man, who was identified over the police scanner as a suspect in a homicide, has not been publicly named or even charged with the crime, and is therefore not being named here.

Mutual friends of the suspect and the man who was killed have identified the county man as the killer, but the Clarion is working with authorities and will have the full story as it becomes available.
