Saturday, July 4th: Independence Day celebration at Vastwood Park, featuring an expanded fireworks display, time capsule burial in honor of America’s 250th birthday, pageants, food trucks, photo booth, free inflatables from 4-8 p.m., and live music. Josh Merritt, 5-7 p.m. Radiotronic, 7:30-9 p.m. Registration for pageants begins at 1:30 p.m., behind the beach house. Pageants begin at 2 p.m. Registration for baby contest at 3-3:30 p.m., with contest immediately following.

Saturday, July 11th: Heartland Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Cruise-in and fireworks fundraiser, 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. All proceeds benefit the 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer’s. All vehicles are welcome. Face painting, music, fireworks and 50/50 raffle. Food & drinks and T-shirts for purchase. Hot dogs, pulled pork, potato salad and baked beans.

July 13th-14th: Aviation Summer Camp at Owensboro-Daviess County Regional Airport for ages 10-17, 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. $299 per student. *The registration link is on the Owensboro-Daviess County Regional Airport Facebook page. Only a few spots are left!
