The Perry County Memorial Hospital Foundation, Inc. exists to support Perry County Memorial Hospital’s mission of providing quality healthcare to our community now and for future generations. The Foundation is a not-for-profit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, making gifts tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. At Perry County Memorial Hospital (PCMH), we’ve served the community for over 70 years.
For this year’s Don Etienne Memorial Golf Classic, we’re aiming to raise $20,000 to support funding a 3D mammography machine in order to provide better care to the patients of PCMH.
3D mammography is the preferred screening modality of the American Society of Breast Surgeons. The primary benefit of 3D imaging is that it can detect small cancers and masses hidden in dense breast tissue much earlier than standard 2D mammography. Earlier detection gives a patient the choice whether to watch and wait for changes in the mass or remove the tumor right away, reducing the need for whole-body cancer treatment if the tumor spreads – and the cost, time, and discomfort that go along with it.
The Don Etienne Memorial Golf Classic will be held on Monday, October 11 at Christmas Lake Golf Course, located in Santa Claus, IN.
There are golf and non-golf sponsorships available. You can learn more about the type of sponsorships available by visiting the PCMH website:There are golf and non-golf sponsorships available. You can learn more about the type of sponsorships available by visiting this link.
