Student library card for Hancock

Hancock County Library introduces new student library card, available to any student attending school in Hancock County (including home-school and virtual learning). This card allows students to access digital resources through Hancock County Public Library. This includes downloadable eBooks, comics, music, movies, newspapers, magazines, and research materials. Simply fill out the form located at hcplky.org/student-card and your library card will be mailed to you post haste! And if you’re interested in checking out physical books and movies, simply call the library at (270) 927-6760 or (270) 295-3765 to ask about upgrading. Note: If you are under 18, we do need a parent or guardian’s permission to upgrade you to a full card. If you already have a library card, there’s no need to apply for a new one; your existing card offers the same benefits!

*  WiFi access inside library locations and from parking lots 24/7 with no password required
*  Access to ebooks, audiobooks, music, comics, television shows through Hoopla
*  Access to ebooks, audiobooks through OverDrive / Libby
*  Access to TumbleBooks, TumbleMath, Teen Book Cloud, Audio Book Cloud.
*  Access to World Book Onlilne and Kentucky Virtual Library reference materials
*  Access to RBDigital for digital magazines
*  Themed storytimes for ages 5 and under presented virtually by library team member
*  Curbside Pickup at either library / Delivery to schools
• Computers/Internet access in each building
