Swihart resigns as South principal

South Hancock Elementary School’s principal announced his resignation last week in a message posted on Facebook.

Michael Swihart, who’s been principal at the school since 2013 when he took over for the retiring Barbara Spindel, said that his wife’s schedule and God’s calling led him to leave the school on June 12.
