Riverview Fred and his failed attempt

It was a good idea.

He just had to go to the Riverview, walk in, and get food. He’d seen it a hundred times: people walking in hungry and leaving full. It looked so easy.

His friends and family warned him that it was a fool’s errand, but Fred the Chicken was going for it. How hard could it be?

Turns out, harder than he thought. He was, after all, a chicken.
