Swimming lessons at Windward Height County Club; registration begins June 28
Registration for Red Cross Swimming Lessons will be on Monday, June 28 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Windward Heights Country Club in Hawesville.
The Cost per participant will be $35.00 each for non-members and $25.00 each for members for the eight days of the session.
Classes for Beginning children from 3 to 5 years of age will run from 4:00 to 4:30. The 3-5 year-old swimmers are encouraged to bring their “Floaties.”
The 4:30 to 5:00 class will be for beginner children from ages 6 through 12.
The 5:00 to 5:30 class will be for advanced strokes for swimmers. At the same time, a class for children and adults who wish to learn to swim, or to improve their swimming ability will be offered.
Actual class days are planned for June 29 and 30, July 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9 with any makeup days missed for inclement weather to be the week of July 12 (Time TBA).
