Farmer’s Market opening Saturday, June 3rd at Vastwood Park
Everyone is invited to shop and vend at the Hancock County Farmer’s Market at
Vastwood Park on Saturday, June 3rd, beginning at 7 a.m.
Please bring your produce, flowers, plants, homemade goodies and other wares to sell. There is no charge to set-up!
Come out and support local growers and purchase fresh, locally grown produce.
Austin Edge will be there this Saturday with the delicious tomatoes he’s known for growing.
The market happens every Saturday from 7 a.m. until sundown.
The market has had a slow-start this year, possibly because people weren’t aware of it. The Hancock Clarion wasn’t notified by anyone and didn’t have an article with the details for readers as in previous years. The first market of the year was on Saturday, May 13th, and so far there hasn’t been a very good turnout. Let’s turn this around and make this local gem of a market thrive again like it has in past years! Support your local farmers and vendors!
The market is located at the Hwy 60 entrance to Vastwood Park in Hawesville, Kentucky. See you there!
