As announced in early August of 2022, in an effort to “Close the Digital Divide” Kenergy partnered with Conexon Connect to provide homes and businesses in 14 rural Kentucky Counties, including Hancock, with fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network broadband (high speed) internet.
The infrastructure is currently being put into place and it’s time to sign-up if you’re planning on getting this service. You can sign-up on the website or by phone.
Go to the website: http://conexonconnect.com/. Then tap the three horizontal lines at the top right and select Check Availability/Fiber Internet. When you’re prompted to select your electric cooperative, select Kenergy Corp (KY). You’ll find information on the page for a broadband assistance program as well as the details and prices of all of the plans for residential and business.
