Hancock County Cross Country student athletes were recently recognized by the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association.Congratulations to: Ellen Meserve, Oonagh DeJarnette, Beckham DeJarnette, Elias Meserve, Emmitt Meserve, Hunter Stephens, Lexus Ralph and Izzy Ross.

The list of regional and state honors for each student athlete is as follows: Ellen Meserve – Elementary All-State 1st Team, Area 2; Elementary Runner of the Year and Elementary All-Area 2 1st Team, Oonagh DeJarnette – Elementary All-Area 1st Team, Beckham DeJarnette – Elementary All-Area 1st Team, Elias Meserve – Elementary All-Area 1st Team, Emmitt Meserve – Middle School All-Area 1st Team, Hunter Stephens – All-Region 1st Team, Lexus Ralph – All-Region 1st Team and Izzy Ross – All-Region 1st Team.
