Sarah “Sally” Elizabeth Taylor, age 75 of Louisville, KY, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022 after recent health issues. Sally was born in Hawesville, KY and lived most of her life in Owensboro, KY, with a career as an inside sale representative for various rolled aluminum manufacturers. She moved to Cleveland, OH in the mid-2000s for work and retired in Louisville, KY in 2012. In earlier years, Sally enjoyed family farming, cheerleading, and driving in her Mustang. Later in life she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends, as well as reading, oldies and classic rock music, theater with her gals, an occasional burger from Shady Lane Café, and crime shows. Sally was strong, resilient, positive and dedicated for many who were lucky enough to have known her.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Taylor of Masonville, KY and Bea Bozarth Long of Hawesville, KY, as well as by her siblings, Bill Taylor of Louisville, KY and Margie Taylor of Hawesville, KY. Sally is survived by her sons, Byron Richardson of Louisville, KY and Daniel Richardson of Cincinnati, OH; daughters-in-law Amber Barnes of Louisville, KY and Laura Richardson of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren Cameron and Alex Richardson of Louisville, KY; grandpups Rey and Abby; and several cousins, nephews, extended family and friends.
