Barbara Sue Coomes, 75, of Louisville KY, passed away on 03/01/2022 in Breckinridge County where she resided with her son James E. Coomes and daughter in law Janie A. Coomes. Barbara, passed away peacefully with her son & daughter in law by her side.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Casey; her sister, Donna Jackson and brothers, Charlie Allen and Dennie Allen. Barbara is survived by her son, James E. Coomes and daughter in law Janie A. Coomes; 5 grandchildren, James David Coomes, Emilee Rose Coomes, A.J. Santana, Jessica Marie and William Shofner, Richard and Jade Santana; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Kathy Raisor and Bonnie Kay Brock; brother, J.C. and Kathy Casey and many other nieces & nephews.

Barbara retired from Louisville Cardinal Aluminum, where she worked for 30 years. Barbara enjoyed the outdoors, country music and dancing. Barbara’s wishes are to spend eternity on Double J’s Hidden Spring Farm, so her ashes will be spread on Double J’s Hidden Spring Farm, where she will forever remain close to her son James E. Coomes & family.
