Truck pulls into car
No one suffered injury when a truck pulled into the side of a car on U.S. 60. The accident happened on November 5 at roughly 3:15 p.m. Hancock County Sheriff’s Deputy Jeff Hendrick filed the accident report.
Barry Decker of Lewisport told Hendrick he went to pull his 1994 Toyota pickup into the left passing lane of U.S. 60 west, six miles east of Lewisport. Decker failed to see a 2015 Nissan Altima driven by Baily G. Hall of Lewisport traveling in the left hand lane of U.S. 60 west, and pulled into the front passenger side of her vehicle.
Hall’s Altima sustained moderate damage. Decker’s truck sustained minor damage. Neither vehicle required a tow.
Dodge Ram Camry
A truck pulling from a parking spot on state Route 1957, five miles east of Lewisport, hit a parked car. The accident happened on November 2 at 7:15 p.m. Hancock County Sheriff’s Deputy Jeff Hendrick filed the report.
Timothy Young of Hawesville told Hendrick that as he pulled his 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 from a parking spot, he misjudged the clearance and hit an unoccupied 2015 Toyota Camry owned by Joshua Johnson of Owensboro. Both vehicles sustained damage.
The Ram sustained moderate damage. The Camry sustained moderate to severe damage. Neither vehicle required a tow.
