The Hornets district game scheduled for tomorrow night at McLean County has been postponed due to an increased outbreak of positive Covid tests in McLean County. The game may be played on November 6 in place of the previously scheduled home game with Holy Cross, although this has not been made official as of yet.
“If for some reason we end up not being able to make up this game, then it goes to RPI ranking – the team with the higher RPI gets the win,” Hornets coach Bobby Eubanks explained. “Right now our RPT ranking is #2 in Class 2A so if it did come to that we would be fine. We’re still No. 1 in the District.”
Breck Game Cancelled
The Hornets game at Breck County scheduled for Oct. 30 has been cancelled. The Tigers need the date for a district game due to previous postponements. The Hornets will now play Crittenden County at home on October 30. The boys will play at McLean the following week (Nov. 6) and then host a playoff game on Nov, 13
