Vickie Lynn (Coon) Hausz
Vickie Lynn (Coon) Hausz, 53, died Thursday, August 13, 2020 at her home in Lanesville. She was born December 2, 1966 in Hancock, Kentucky to Carter L. Coon and Joann Tindle Decker.
Vickie was a homemaker and an avid volunteer in the Lanesville Community. She was a 30 year member of St John’s Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, and a son, Joshua Hausz.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Hausz, of Lanesville, a step-son, Michael Hausz of Vidor, Texas; a daughter Sara Hausz of Lanesville, her mother, Joann Decker of Hawesville, KY; brother, Gilbert (Linda) Coon of Hawesville, KY, sisters Kathy Emery and Mary Clark both of Kentucky and nieces and nephews Leann, Allison, Stacy and Jonathan.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 18, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lanesville, Indiana. Pastor Mark Carnahan will officiate. Visitation will begin Sunday, August 16, from 4:00-8:00 PM, Monday, 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, Indiana.
Burial will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Lanesville, Indiana
Due to COVID-19 we are limited to under 60 people inside the funeral home at one time, masks are required as well as practicing social distancing. We are not allowed to have food to share during this time.
