Dallas Ray Burden

Dallas Ray Burden, 68, of Hawesville, passed away on June 28, 2020 at his home.  He was born in Muhlenburg County on January 25, 1952 to Charles and Alice Reed Burden.  He was a laborer for Laborers Local 561 years ago, worked for Yager’s for several years and was currently working for G & N Trucking.  He enjoyed working on race cars.  Dallas was preceded in death by his father, Charles Burden, brother, William Burden and a brother in law, Billy Blake.

Survivors include his mother, Alice Burden; children, Regina Burden, Carmen Smith, Ashley Burden, Charlie Burden, Brandon Anderson, Cody Burden and Tyler Burden; sister, Joyce Blake; 19 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

    Pops you was was a great father to me. You was my teacher for most of the things I know today. You were the person that stood by me though thick and then no matter what. Dad you was my best friend and I love you so much and and I’m going to miss you dearly. But I will always hold on to are many good times goofing off working on the race cars and any other projects we came up with. I take after you in so many ways and I’m proud to be ur son. and I know you’ll watch over all of us kids, grand kids, and great grand kids. I love you and miss you dad till we are reunited again.
