November’s issue of Country Living magazine features a home familiar to nearly anyone who’s driven into Lewisport in the past 118 years or so, with the stately, white home of Mike and Cindy Fallin prominently placed on a page of tempting century-old homes on the market across America.
The home, located at 1595 Fourth Street, sits at top center of the page above five others under a heading that says, “These six properties might just tempt old-house lovers to uproot everything in the name of original hardwoods or gingerbread trim.”
Pointing out the home’s approximately 1901 build date, the magazine lists the home’s features like transom windows and original built-ins and says the wraparound porch “makes for the perfect shade” before giving the contact information for realtors Kathy and Tim Gooch, who got the home in the magazine, which was a surprise to the Fallins.
