Public gives feedback at nickel tax public hearing

The public was given a chance to give feedback Thursday on the school board’s proposed plan to implement a nickel tax increase in order to build a new middle school, which if approved on August 22 will be on this year’s tax bills unless citizens gather enough signatures to recall it or force a public vote.
