High school threat Wednesday was ‘misinterpreted’

Hancock County High School students and parents got a scare Wednesday morning, when the school issued an alert that it was looking into a possible threat against the school. 

School superintendent Kyle Estes sent out an automated call to parents at a little before 8 a.m. informing them of the situation.
