Airport having two big days of entertainment, free plane rides

By Dave Taylor

As students near the end of another school year and parents begin the annual task of finding ways to keep their families entertained, the Hancock County Airport is coming to the rescue, with a free two-day Open House where kids and families can play, eat, watch hot air balloons and skydivers, and even go flying.

The annual Open House is May 18-19, and it begins on Friday night with a chance for families to bring a lawn chair and relax, and to see a rare sight in this area: a hot air balloon glow.
