Workers at Hawesville’s Southwire plant will be $1,000 richer this week after the company announced it would pay bonuses to all of its full-time employees as a result of federal tax reform. The company is also expanding paid parental leave, among other things.
The bonuses, which will be paid to all employees at Hawesville except for executives and upper management, are expected to be paid out by the end of March, according to Southwire Operational Support Manager Donnie Sanders.
