Career Center, SkillTrain offering free help for jobs, education

It’s easy to miss the large, nondescript building along Highway 60, a little east of the high school, but what goes on inside is making a difference in the lives of people all over the area. 

The Hancock County Development Complex, often referred to as just the “career center,” houses several agencies dealing with agriculture, industry health and education, as well as programs like 4-H, but two agencies are there for the expressed purpose of educating residents and getting them better jobs, all for free.
