Whiterock project on track, closing on building next month

Despite some small delays, the $179 million Whiterock Pigments project announced last October is moving forward, with the company expected to close on an empty industrial building next month.

The new company is buying the vacant former Alcoa building located across from Century Aluminum, and is locating a new chemical plant there that will employ 124 people once it’s up and running.
