David Neil Husk, 60, of Lewisport went home to be with the Lord on Thursday November 23, 2017 at his home under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky, with his loved ones by his side. David was born on March 17, 1957 to William Edward and Grace Moore Husk in Owensboro, KY. David attended Revive Community Church. He was employed by Hewlett Packard / DXC. He is an Eagle Scout, Kentucky Professional Land Surveyor and a former Scout Master. He was preceded in death by his father Edward Husk, in – laws John and Peggy McDaniel and a brother – in- law Jay Shrode.
He is Survived by his wife of 41 years Karen McDaniel Husk; three sons Matthew (Andrea) Husk of Hawesville, Kevin ( Kendra) Husk and Adam (Bethany) Husk both of Lewisport; his mother Grace Husk of Hendersonville, TN; eight grandchildren Emily (Kelly) Wathen, Allyson Rickard, Logan, Jacey, Aubrey, Harper, Mercer and Will Husk; Siblings Karen Shrode, Byron (Josefa) Husk and Mark (Ann) Husk; his mother – in – law Glenna McDaniel of Walton, KY; sister- in – law Mary Ann (Mac) McKeown and brother – in – law Dale (Kimberly Love) McDaniel and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services are 2:00 pm Sunday November 26, 2017 in the Taylor Chapel at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport. Burial will be in Lewisport Cemetery. David’s family will greet friends from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm Saturday and from 11:00 am until service time Sunday at the Funeral Home.
