Robert W. Kirk

Robert W. Kirk, 66, of Monterey, IN, died Sunday, July 20, 2008 at Hospice
Home in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born March 24, 1942 in Louisville, KY, the
son of William Curtis and Elsie Aline Steff Kirk. He was a member of Bible
Baptist Church in Knox, IN. He worked as a mechinist at Winamac Coil Spring
in Kewanna, IN. Robert enjoyed playing guitar, singing, fishing and
gardening. He enjoyed spending time with his family and joking and kidding
with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie
Tesseman Kirk; father, William Curtis Kirk; mother, Elsie Aline Steff Kirk;
brother, David Lee Kirk; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Survivors include six daughters, Katherine (Arthur) Navarrete of Midland,
TX, Glenda F. Kirk and Sharon Renee (Kevin) Schlemmer, both of Owensboro,
Synthia Marie (Gary) Clingler  and Bobbie Kaye (Tony) Edmondson both of
Rochester, IN, and Candy Lyn (Gary)  Weaver of Monterey, IN; two sons,
Thomas William Chumley of Monterey, IN and James Theodore (Pamela) Chumley
of Winamac, IN; two brothers, Charles Kirk of Hobart, IN and David Wayne
(Sharon) Kirk of Murray, KY; two sisters, Brenda (Bob) Conley of Morocco, IN
and Sheila (Kenny) Richardson of Hawesville, KY; 27 grandchildren; and 33
great-grandchildren.

Services were Wednesday at Frain Mortuary, Winamac, IN, with Pastor James
Adcock officiating. Burial was in Riverbank Cemetery. Memorial Contributions
may be given to: Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, IN or the Bible Baptist Church
Building Fund.
