John Richard Henry, 84, of Ft. Worth, Texas, formerly of Owensboro, went
home to be with the Lord on June 23, 2008. He was born in Owensboro in 1923
and was a Navy WWII Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents,
William and Nannie Henry; a son, Richard Allen Henry; two sisters, Flora
McCaslin and Rachel Girten; and two infant brothers, Roy and Coy Henry.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Markum Henry; a daughter, Linda (Tom)
Monroe; a son, Randy (Gail) Henry; two grandsons, Steven Monroe and Justin
Henry, of Ft. Worth, Texas; four brothers, William (Alice) Henry of Ft.
Worth, Hewitt (Margie) Henry, James (Mary Lou) Henry and Robert Henry of
Owensboro; three sisters, Bonnie (Doug) Walker of Everman, Texas, Patty and
Nancy Henry, both of Owensboro. Relatives residing in Hancock County include
Karen Fleming, Dianne Estes, Mike, Jack, Roger and Sterling McCaslin, and
Gary Lee and Claudette Henry.

Services were held June 27, at Mt. Olivet Chapel with interment at Mount
Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth.
